Our senior portrait session with Christian featured, dark storm clouds, dropping temperatures and a strong breeze but that didn’t stop us from creating some awesome images for him and his family. Sometimes those less than ideal conditions can help create some amazing images and that was the case for this Kansas City senior portrait session.
Christian attends North Kansas City High school and is a musician and drum major. We knew we wanted to incorporate the drum major uniform into his session after we discussed it at his pre-session consultation but what was the most creative way we could come up with? The vision we ultimately came up with for Christian was to use the Kauffman Performing Arts Center as a background for some of his photos prior to heading to the West Bottoms where Christian wanted the majority of his pictures.
